The Race to World First!

With a new raid in World of Warcraft (WoW), comes a new race to world first. Rarely do you see competitive Player vs. Environment (PVE).

Raids in WoW are available in 3 modes: Normal, Heroic and Mythic; with the difficulty of the raid increasing respectively. Top tier guilds around the world compete by being the first to defeat the final boss in Mythic mode.

The Eternal Palace (TEP) opened their gates on 9 July 2019, offering Normal and Heroic runs to commence. Mythic TEP started on 16 July 2019 and from here, we get to watch guilds push through the many loyal servants of Queen Azshara in an attempt to be the first to slain the Queen herself.

Method (EU-Tauren Mill)[Horde] is one of the most prominent in the Race to World First series. They have clenched the title of World First for many of the previous raids; having been the defending champion since the days of Tomb of Sargeras. You can read more about the history of all the raids in WoW and who were the first in their time to clench them at https://www.method.gg/raid-history/.

Raid progress of TEP is currently being documented at https://www.method.gg/raidprogress, with Limit (US-Illidan)[Horde] in the lead of 5 out of 8 of the raid bosses defeated. (As of 18 July 2019, 2:33PM GMT+8)
